This experiential workshop is based on the work of Heather Stang and will provide an opportunity for participants to discover how mindfulness based meditation and practices can allow clients to tap into their natural resilience, which fosters growth on the grief journey. When mindfulness is applied to the grieving process it reminds clients that pain is impermanent and we can help our clients observe their grief as it exists in the present moment, without the need to avoid it. In the end, we can help our clients rediscover peace and self-compassion.
